Export Packaging Is a Different Discipline

A box that performs perfectly on a domestic Konya-Istanbul run can fail on a Konya-Hamburg sea freight. Export packaging faces longer transit time, more handling stages, more aggressive humidity and temperature swings, stricter retail-acceptance norms and tighter customs documentation. At MFS Ambalaj we have been packaging Turkish-origin goods for international markets since 2011, with current customers shipping to EU, UK, USA, Canada, MENA, Russia, CIS and selected Asian markets.

Our export-packaging service starts with the lane (origin and destination, mode, expected transit time, humidity and temperature exposure), then specs the right flute and grammage, the right adhesives, and the right unitization. We work in 100% recyclable corrugated, with FSC-grade liners available where target-market sustainability claims (e.g. EU PPWR alignment) require. Wooden pallet needs are coordinated with ISPM-15-stamped suppliers; pure corrugated palletization is offered where applicable.

Beyond structural design, exporting requires market-specific artwork: language, retail-ready front faces, country-of-origin labeling, EAN/UPC barcodes, and selected market certifications. Our offset and flexo presses handle multilingual print runs efficiently. We coordinate cleanly with our customers' freight forwarders so the unit is ready for cross-border logistics on dispatch day.
